About Jeff

My name is Jeff Langan. I'm a Connecticut native currently living in Chicagoland, and I've been lucky enough to call a few different states home — Colorado being my favorite.

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a photojournalist — that camera guy standing in the middle of a hurricane or blizzard. I've always had a visual eye for storytelling, always looking for creative angles and ways to bring an image to life.

For the last six years I've been working in TV news, starting as a content producer before making the switch to photojournalist. I love the challenge of taking a story and finding creative ways to tell it. In 2016 I won an Emmy award for my work on a special about Colorado's Craziest Restaurants — including a shoot inside a restaurant built inside an old bank vault.

Now I'm expanding into still photography. It's similar to what I do every day, but also completely different — and I'm looking forward to sharing the results with you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have photo or video needs.
